Enlightenment is far from easy.

The path to spiritual transcendence is described in Plato's Allegory of the Cave as agonizing, and while this is true, it is also imperitive to recognize that pain is not our enemy.

Pain shows growth.

By experiencing pain, you become adaptable. We cannot do away with pain completely, not only is it impossible but it would be devastating as well. Without pain, we wouldn't appreciate comfort, and without it we'd be deprived of the human experience. There would be no opportunities to overcome, no reasons to be strong.

no pain = no gain

no pain= no point

pain = life
